Ghanmi’s paintings are intense, primal and never risk sentimentality. Resonating vivid, rich colours, Ghanmi expresses his deepest fears, joys 

and sorrows through his art. Passionate symbolism and raw observation come together to create paintings saturated with beauty and tension. Working uniquely in oils, Ghanmi’s canvases range from small (30 x 30cm) to large-scale (300 x 200cm).

Born in 1979, Ghanmi shied away from studying Fine Art fearing its interference in his creative processes. Instead, 

Ghanmi studied in Great Britain, pursuing Design in Lancaster and then at Kingston University, London.
